2. <\/em><\/strong>Uniforms<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

After successful completion of training, the recruits are kitted and sent to assignments.<\/p>\n

Our standard uniform consists of black or navy blue trousers, white or grey shirts, black or grey pullover, grey green raincoat, navy blue cap, belt, pair of black boots, baton, torch, and whistle. However our uniforms policy is flexible in the sense that when in partnership with a client, we suit our uniform to the client needs but retain our names and badges in visible areas of the clothing so as to sustain our corporate image.<\/p>\n

3. Training <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The recruits undergo a vigorous training and induction course before successful entrants are assigned to work after assessment. This course is designed to give the trainees adequate training to be able to face the challenges they are likely to encounter when on assignment. On the job training is continuous.<\/p>\n

During training they are also subjected to aptitude and attitude tests. This training covers both theory and practical and only those who show potential move on to the next stage. Trainees are expected to attain at least a 75% pass to be considered for employment.<\/p>\n

The course is divided into three distinct stages. Introductory, basic and higher courses.<\/p>\n

One has to successfully complete the introductory and basic courses before being deployed. After six months of satisfactory service on assignment, the guard will be required to take the higher course.<\/p>\n

In addition to the above, guards will be subjected to continuing education by attending a mandatory three day refresher course once a year.<\/p>\n

4. Duties<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the training offered above, each guard is oriented to the specific needs of each assignment as no two assignments are exactly the same. However punctuality, alertness, surveillance, proactive patrolling and monitoring of suspicious activity are all pre-requisites for any<\/p>\n

guarding assignment. Any laxity noticed on the part of the guard is subject to prompt appropriate disciplinary action and\/or remedial counseling. All our services are supported by mobile backup crews some on continuous patrol and others stationed at strategic points.<\/p>\n

5. <\/em><\/strong>Supervision <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

While on their assignments the guards\/guardettes are visited at least two times in each 12-hour shift by trained and experienced supervisors. This is to ensure the guards\u2019 alertness, smartness and that they are properly equipped and prepared for duty. We have supervision teams on vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and on foot depending on nature and location of assignment. Senior managers also make impromptu visits and carryout random checks thus giving supervisory support. Our guarding personnel are allowed to sign for duty only when they appear well groomed. All security personnel reporting for duty are first subjected to a mandatory inspection parade before taking over assignments.<\/p>\n
